Role Summary

The Director-Marketing has to aim at the pan-India market in the financial services sector to capture a major market share for the services offered by BWR.

Collaborate with the business team and other cross-functional teams to uncover insights for developing high-impact marketing campaigns and branding strategies for the products and services of the company - both existing and new. Be adept at identifying revenue opportunities among established clients and securing new accounts. Develop and manage an annual marketing budget, profit-and-loss projections, and expenditures. Understand key performance metrics and tracking tools for market research, forecasts, competitor analyses, campaign results, and consumer trends, and translate results into actionable insights for marketing goals.

Primary ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute marketing strategies aligned with business objectives by working closely with clients, business teams, creatives/content providers, and distribution partners to create effective plans focused on growing the audience for BWR’s products and servicesSpearhead the execution of marketing campaigns, including reporting, analyses, and recommendationsDevelop execution plan and drive weekly webinars, thought leadership, or conclaves to build client engagement and generate leadsLeverage data-driven insights to refine marketing efforts and drive growth.Manage conception, development, and implementation of marketing plans/strategy, product concepts, and promotional programs to drive customer interest and sales.Manage social media accounts (LinkedIn, YouTube) with continuous content and engagementWork with media agencies to generate speaking and sound-byte opportunities for the CEOConceptualise Brand refresh and promote brand visibility including website redesign and SEO optimizationConduct meetings regularly with account managers to review pipeline, resolve challenges, brainstorm possible solutions, and provide training to ensure the team is consistently performing above standardAttend conferences, and trade shows, preparing engaging displays and collateral as needed, and provide post-event reports and analysis

Competencies and Skills● Strategic thinking and leadership abilities.● Strong communication and interpersonal skills.● Proficiency in digital marketing tools including social media marketing, and analytics platforms.● Proficiency with content management systems, and design software● Creative problem-solving and decision-making skills.● Ability to plan, manage budgets, and deliver measurable results.● Established a roster of media and PR contacts

Mumbai

Educational Qualification● Bachelor’s degree in Marketing / Business Administration / Communications, or a related field (mandatory).● MBA or relevant master’s degree (preferred).

Work Experience● 15+ years in marketing, including 5+ years in a leadership role in credit rating/banking /financial services sectors● Proven track record of successful campaigns and brand management.
