Job Overview

We're looking for a proactive QA Lead to drive and enhance the quality assurance process across a variety of CMS and eCommerce platforms, including WordPress, Shopify, BigCommerce, and GoHighLevel CRM. You'll lead a team, manage testing cycles, optimize QA processes, and implement automation and AI-powered testing tools like Percy, Applitools, and Playwright.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead QA across platforms like WordPress, Shopify, BigCommerce & GoHighLevel.
  • Perform detailed manual testing: website builds, eCommerce flows, landing pages, etc.
  • Create test cases, test plans, and documentation for functional, UI/UX, and responsive testing.
  • Conduct quality checks on forms, checkout flows, plugin/theme updates, and content migration.
  • Improve and implement SOPs tailored for high-volume digital project delivery.
  • Identify automation opportunities and work with tools like Playwright, Selenium, or Katalon.
  • Utilise AI tools such as Percy or Applitools for visual and functional testing.
  • Use tools like JIRA, ClickUp, or TestRail for bug tracking and test management.
  • Mentor and lead QA team members, driving a quality-first culture.

Must-Have Qualifications

  • 5+ years in web-based QA, especially on WordPress, Shopify, and/or BigCommerce.
  • Experience with WordPress builders (Elementor, WPBakery, Divi) and ACF.
  • Familiar with Shopify theme customisation, cart/checkout flows.
  • Cross-browser/device compatibility and responsive testing experience.
  • Proven experience managing a QA team and owning QA delivery.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills.
  • Exposure to GoHighLevel CRM is a bonus.

Preferred Skills

  • Tools: Percy, Applitools, Testim, Playwright, Selenium, Katalon.
  • Basic automation scripting (JavaScript, Python, or Java).
  • Experience with Git, JMeter, Lighthouse, and CI/CD pipelines.
