Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior Data Migration Lead with deep expertise in ERP and CRM data migrations, particularly within the Oracle technology stack. This role is hands-on and will be responsible for defining, leading, and executing the data migration strategy for a global ERP and CRM rollout. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in complex, high-volume data migrations across multiple geographies, business units, and legacy systems
Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Planning:

• Define and execute the end-to-end data migration strategy for a global ERP & CRM implementation.

• Develop and own the data migration framework, methodologies, and best practices to ensure data integrity, accuracy, and performance.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders, solution architects, and data teams to establish clear data migration requirements, priorities, and timelines.

• Identify and mitigate risks related to data cleansing, transformation, loading, and reconciliation.
Execution & Delivery:

• Lead hands-on extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes using Oracle tools (ODI, PL/SQL, SQL Loader, Oracle Data Pump, etc.).

• Work closely with functional consultants and technical teams to map data from legacy systems (SAP, Salesforce, Workday, in-house systems, etc.) to the new Oracle ERP/CRM environment.

• Oversee data cleansing activities, ensuring data quality standards are met before migration.

• Develop repeatable, automated data migration scripts and processes to support multiple deployment phases.

• Conduct data validation and reconciliation to ensure completeness and accuracy post-migration.
Stakeholder Management & Governance:

• Act as the primary point of contact for all data migration activities, liaising with business and technical teams across different regions.

• Collaborate with project managers, business analysts, and data governance teams to align migration activities with overall program timelines.

• Communicate data migration progress, risks, and dependencies to senior leadership.

• Ensure compliance with data security, regulatory, and audit requirements.
Technical & Tool Expertise:

• Strong proficiency with Oracle ERP (Cloud/Fusion, EBS) and CRM (Salesforce, Siebel, etc.) data models.

• Expertise in Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, ODI (Oracle Data Integrator), Oracle GoldenGate, and other Oracle data migration tools.

• Familiarity with data profiling, cleansing, and reconciliation tools (e.g., Informatica, Talend, SAP BODS).

• Experience working with cloud and hybrid environments, including Oracle Cloud, AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

• Knowledge of APIs, web services, and middleware for integrating data between legacy systems and Oracle ERP/CRM
Key Requirements
Essential Skills & Experience:

• 10+ years of experience in data migration, data architecture, or data engineering roles.

• Proven experience leading at least one large-scale, multi-country ERP & CRM data migration project.

• Deep hands-on experience in Oracle databases, SQL scripting, and ETL processes.

• Strong understanding of ERP and CRM data structures, business processes, and dependencies.

• Ability to troubleshoot complex data migration issues and optimise performance.

• Experience in data reconciliation, data validation, and cutover strategies.

• Strong project management, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Preferred Qualifications & Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Oracle Cloud or Oracle EBS certification.

• Experience with Salesforce CRM data migration.

• Familiarity with MDM (Master Data Management) principles.

• Experience with Agile and DevOps methodologies in data migration projects.
