Introduction

Neem Consulting seeks a Supply Chain IT Subject Matter Expert (SME) with over 10 years of IT experience in Customer Development (CD) and supply chain, specifically within industries such as FMCG, Pharma, Food and Beverage, or similar. The ideal candidate will combine strategic insight with practical IT expertise to drive transformational outcomes. This position demands a motivated leader adept at navigating ambiguity, setting clear direction, fostering change, and delivering results in complex global environments.

Responsibilities

Assist with implementing the supply chain and customer development IT engagement organisation and process flows.

Act as a trusted advisor, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to develop IT engagement strategies that enhance supply chain efficiency.

Provide expertise in IT organisation design, internal IT business partnering, and global IT delivery.

Develop and deliver compelling presentations to influence stakeholders and secure buy-in for IT-driven change initiatives.

Drive change management processes to ensure smooth implementation of new systems and practices.

Provide leadership and direction in uncertain environments, setting clear goals and aligning teams to achieve objectives.

Build strong partnerships across IT and business units, ensuring consistent delivery of high-value outcomes.

Serve as a mentor and coach, developing the capabilities of the broader team.

Essential Skills and Experience

10+ years of IT experience in Customer Development (CD) and supply chain, with a proven track record in global IT delivery and leadership.

Experience in industry verticals such as FMCG, Pharma, Food and Beverage, or similar industries.

Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to create compelling narratives to engage diverse audiences.

Expertise in IT organisation design, internal business partnering, and IT strategy development.

Demonstrated success in leading and managing change in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.

A proactive, self-motivated leader who can set clear direction and gain support in ambiguous situations.

Proven ability to deliver results in dynamic, high-pressure settings.

Desirable Skills and Experience

Experience working within large, multinational organisations with complex IT and supply chain ecosystems.

Knowledge of advanced technologies and their application in supply chain and customer development processes.

Familiarity with agile methodologies and modern IT service delivery frameworks.

Certification in change management or related disciplines.

Demonstrated ability to build and foster relationships across cultural and organisational boundaries.
