JOB SUMMARY
We are looking for a skilled Web Manager who, along with our excellent software development, infrastructure, and security teams, will be responsible for managing both the organization's online presence and a team of developers. This role involves overseeing website development projects, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring the successful execution of digital initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and a solid understanding of web technologies and digital marketing principles.
PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Website and Development Management:
Lead a team of developers in the design, development, and maintenance of company websites, ensuring adherence to best practices, coding standards, and project timelines. Collaborate with designers, content creators, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions and deliver high-quality web experiences. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.Project Planning and Execution:
Develop project plans, timelines, and resource allocations for website development projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and priorities. Track project progress, identify potential risks or bottlenecks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure timely delivery and successful outcomes. Communicate project status, milestones, and dependencies to stakeholders, fostering transparency and accountability throughout the development process.Technical Expertise and Innovation:
Stay abreast of emerging web technologies, development frameworks, and industry trends, and assess their potential impact on the organization's digital strategy. Evaluate and recommend new tools, platforms, and methodologies to improve development efficiency, scalability, and performance. Encourage a culture of innovation and experimentation within the development team, empowering team members to explore new ideas and approaches. Manage and support DevOps principles.Team Leadership and Talent Development:
Recruit, onboard, and manage a diverse team of developers, providing coaching, feedback, and professional development opportunities to foster growth and career advancement. Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment where team members feel valued, motivated, and empowered to contribute their best work. Promote knowledge sharing, code reviews, and collaborative problem-solving to enhance the overall effectiveness and cohesiveness of the development team.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
Proven experience in web development, content management, and digital marketing. Proficiency in web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and CMS platforms (., Umbraco, WordPress, or Drupal). Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret web analytics data and derive actionable insights. Excellent project management and multitasking abilities, with a keen attention to detail. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and influence stakeholders. Familiarity with SEO principles, web accessibility standards, and cybersecurity best practices. Creative problem-solving skills and a passion for continuous learning and innovation. Previous experience in a leadership or managerial role, with a track record of successfully leading and mentoring development teams. Proficiency in software development methodologies (., Agile, Scrum) and project management tools (., Jira, Azure DevOps) to facilitate effective collaboration and project execution. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate team members, build consensus, and resolve conflicts. Deep technical expertise in web development languages (.NET, Java, PHP, JavaScript), frameworks, and tools, with the ability to provide hands-on guidance and support to developers. Experience with version control systems (., Git), continuous integration/delivery pipelines, and DevOps practices to streamline development workflows and ensure code quality and reliability. A passion for staying updated on the latest developments in web development, digital marketing, and technology trends, with a commitment to continuous learning and professional development. Excellent knowledge of cloud computing technologies and trends. Experience with Docker and the ability to create images and containers as needed. Hands-on experience with cloud providers such as MS Azure, AWS, or others.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, information technology, or relevant field. Total 9+ years’ experience with minimum 5 years of expertise in designing, executing and supporting web development. (Not translated in selected language)-
