Roles& Responsibilities:


  • Firmware and Software Development: Design and implement firmware and software forMicrocontroller Units (MCUs) adhering to the specified architectureparticularly in the context of RealTime Operating Systems (RTOS).
  • Develop distinct layers of firmware accordingto the system architecture and create application software tailoredfor MCU functionalities. Additionally gather and analyze pertinentdata for motor parameter estimation purposes.
  • Debugging : Utilize debuggingtools or bootloaders to ensure the flawless installation oferrorfree software onto MCUs.
  • Collaboratewith crossfunctional teams to devise userfriendly tools simplifyingprocesses such as parameter updates and code flashing for allstakeholders.
  • Testing : Formulatecomprehensive test cases for both componentlevel and systemleveltesting of software ensuring compliance with various functionalrequirements.
  • Documentation andReporting : Maintain meticulous documentation of allfirmware and software developed including detailed records ofcollected data for parameter estimation.
  • Establish and sustain a comprehensive test case matrix tomonitor the fulfillment of MCU functional requirementsaccurately.


PreferredSkills:


  • Bachelors or Masters degree in ElectricalEngineering Computer Science Electronics Engineering or a relatedfield (Regular).
  • Motor ControlExpertise: Proficiency in various motor controlalgorithms for IPMSM SPMSM BLDC and IMmotors coupled with a solid understanding ofpower electronicsprinciples.
  • Hardware andSoftware Experience: Extensive experience working withmicrocontrollers DigitalSignal Processors (DSPs) and embedded systems. Proficiency in embedded C programmingis essential along with familiarity withMatlab/Simulink.
  • Technical Skills:Demonstrated competence in compilation flashing and debuggingprocesses and tools. Handson experience withmicrocontroller functionalities such as PWM ADCInterrupts DMA as well as familiarity with communication protocolsincluding CAN I2C SPI and UART.
  • RTOS and Testing Proficiency: Prior experience workingwith RealTime Operating Systems (RTOS )and a strong background in software testingmethodologies.
