A Poker Dealer is responsible for facilitating the game of poker by dealing cards to players, managing the pot, and enforcing game rules. They must be knowledgeable about various poker games and have excellent customer service and communication skills. Key Responsibilities Shuffle and deal cards to players Manage the pot and ensure correct payout to winners Enforce game rules and regulations Answer player questions and provide helpful customer service Handle player bets and monitor the game for any cheating or suspicious behavior Collaborate with other casino staff, such as the floor supervisor and security team Qualifications Prior experience as a poker dealer preferred Excellent knowledge of various poker games and their rules Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally Good math skills and ability to calculate payouts quickly and accurately Physical Requirements Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time Manual dexterity for shuffling and dealing cards Ability to lift and carry heavy trays of chips and cards As a Poker Dealer, you will work in a fast-paced and exciting environment while interacting with a diverse group of players.
