Position Overview: The Desktop Support EngineerL2 will provide advanced technical support to end-users, handle complex desktop-related issues, and assist with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of desktop hardware and software. What you’ll do as theDesktop Support Engineer L2: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Expertise in designing, deploying, and managing Windows Deployment Services (WDS) integrated with Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT). Customize OS images as per requirements. Practical experience with antivirus solutions such as CrowdStrike and Windows Defender. Basic knowledge of scripting. Knowledge of network segmentation and networking concepts. Knowledge of reporting and dashboard tools. Ensuring Information Security compliance for corporate and lab devices. Experience with ITIL processes, including incident, change, and problem management. What you will bring to the team: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. 5+ years of experience in IT support.
