Job Summary

A Market Research Group is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Manager Finance who is a Chartered Accountant with 6-7 years of experience, particularly in global promoter-run companies. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing the financial operations, ensuring compliance, and contributing to strategic financial planning and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Management and Reporting:
    • Oversee and manage the financial accounting and reporting functions.
    • Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements in compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
    • Conduct detailed financial analysis and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting:
    • Lead the budgeting process, including preparation, consolidation, and review of budgets.
    • Monitor budget vs. actual performance and provide variance analysis and recommendations.
    • Develop and implement forecasting models to predict future financial trends.
    • Cash flow planning and forecasting   
  • Compliance and Risk Management:
    • Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements and internal policies.
    • Manage audits (internal and external) and liaise with auditors to ensure smooth audit processes.
    • Identify and mitigate financial risks through effective internal controls and risk management strategies.
    • Managing cash remittances to subsidiaries dealing with Authorised Dealers and Banks
    • Ensuring statutory compliances of global subsidiaries are managed in co-ordination with appointed local consultants in each region
  • Strategic Financial Planning:
    • Support the senior management team in strategic planning by providing financial insights and recommendations.
    • Participate in the development of financial strategies to enhance business growth and profitability.
  • Team Leadership and Development:
    • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team.
    • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development within the finance department.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive financial performance and operational efficiency.
  • Financial Systems and Processes:
    • Enhance and optimize financial systems, processes, and controls.
    • Implement best practices in financial management and reporting.
    • Stay updated with the latest financial technologies and tools to improve efficiency.

 


Requirements

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory.
  • 6-7 years of relevant experience in finance and accounting roles, with significant experience in global promoter-run companies.
  • Strong knowledge of international accounting standards and financial regulations.
  • Proven experience in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems: Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems (e.g., Quickbooks, Zoho, Tally etc)
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • High level of integrity and ethical standards.
