Join us in helping leading organizations manage and optimize their cloud infrastructure to ensure scalable, secure, and high-performing operations.Your RoleAs an Operations Engineer, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management, monitoring, and maintenance of GCP infrastructure and applications. You’ll handle routine operations, incident response, and system optimization to ensure reliability and performance.In this role, you will:- Administer Linux and Windows systems in cloud environments- Monitor cloud infrastructure and respond to incidents- Execute backup and disaster recovery operations- Optimize system performance and apply security patches- Automate deployments and manage rollback procedures- Analyze logs and configure alerts for proactive monitoring- Manage GCP resources including compute, storage, networking, and IAM- Use Cloud Console and gcloud CLI for operational tasks- Track resource usage and optimize cloud costs- Maintain service health and troubleshoot GCP services- Document operational procedures and maintain runbooks- Communicate incident status and updates clearly- Prioritize tasks and manage time effectively- Interact professionally with internal customers- Stay reliable for on-call and operational responsibilities- Apply basic Infrastructure as Code conceptsYour Profile- 3+ years in cloud operations, system administration, or infrastructure management- Preferred: 5+ years in enterprise cloud environments- Experience in 24/7 operations and incident response- Proficiency in scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell)- Familiarity with configuration management and monitoring tools- Hands-on experience with GCP services including GCE, Cloud Storage, VPC, IAM, and Cloud Monitoring- Strong troubleshooting and performance optimization skills- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field- Certifications preferred: Google Cloud Associate Cloud Engineer, Linux+ or equivalent- Clear communication and documentation skills- Willingness to learn new technologies and collaborate across teamsWhat You’ll Love About Working Here- We value flexibility and support our employees with remote work options and adaptable schedules to maintain a healthy work-life balance.- Our inclusive culture brings together diverse professionals committed to growth, innovation, and excellence.- You’ll have access to continuous learning opportunities and certifications in emerging technologies like cloud and AI.About UsAt Capgemini Engineering, the world leader in engineering services, we bring together a global team of engineers, scientists, and architects to help the world’s most innovative companies unleash their potential.
