who is entrepreneurial, hands-on, and capable of scaling up manufacturing operations with a start-up mindset.

Role Overview:

The Plant Head will be responsible for setting up, managing, and scaling a cosmetic manufacturing plant with a capacity of up to 10 Tons/day
. This role demands prior experience in cosmetic/skincare/herbal/ayurveda manufacturing, along with strong expertise in
R&D, process innovation, and people management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the
    end-to-end setup
    and daily operations of the cosmetic manufacturing plant.
  • Ensure smooth functioning of
    production, quality assurance, supply chain, and plant administration.
  • Oversee R&D initiatives
    in formulations, process improvements, and new product development.
  • Drive compliance with
    GMP, ISO, and statutory regulations
    for cosmetics and personal care.
  • Monitor and improve
    plant efficiency, productivity, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Build and manage a high-performing team with strong focus on people development, training, and retention.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Procurement, Marketing, R&D) to ensure timely and efficient product delivery.
  • Maintain strong focus on innovation, scalability, and continuous improvement.
  • Prepare and manage plant budgets, reports, and performance metrics.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in
    Cosmetics Technology, Chemical Engineering, Pharmacy, or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience
    in managing large-scale cosmetic/personal care/herbal manufacturing plants.
  • Proven track record of
    setting up and running plants
    of at least 5–10 Tons/day capacity.
  • Strong exposure to
    R&D, formulation development, and process optimization.
  • Excellent knowledge of regulatory standards
    (GMP, FDA, BIS, ISO, etc.) in cosmetics.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with
    hustler attitude
    – ability to thrive in a fast-paced, start-up culture.
  • Exceptional
    leadership and people management
    skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
