Position Title: Accounts ManagerLocation: Gurgaon / PuneExperience Required: Minimum 7–8 years in finance & accounts roles with complete end-to-end finance exposure.Communication Requirement:- Strong communication skills required to interact with an expatriate.- For the Gurgaon role, moderately above-average communication is acceptable.- For the Pune role, strong communication is preferred.Key ResponsibilitiesEnd-to-End Finance Management- Handle complete accounting operations including bookkeeping, reconciliations, month-end closing, and year-end financials.- Ensure accuracy of ledgers and finalization of accounts.Fee & Transaction Management- Manage fee collections, payments, reconciliations, and reporting.- Maintain accurate records of student/parent fee receipts (school experience preferred).Vendor & Payment Management- Process and track vendor payments.- Maintain vendor records, reconciliations, and ensure timely disbursal.Financial Operations- Manage daily finance operations including cash flow, bank reconciliations, expense tracking, and financial controls.- Ensure compliance with relevant financial processes and audit requirements.Budgeting & Reporting- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management review.Audit & Compliance- Support internal and external audits.- Maintain transparent, accurate, audit-ready documentation.Stakeholder Coordination- Collaborate with the Head of School, administration, HR, finance head office, auditors, and vendors.- Present financial data in a clear and structured manner.Process Improvements- Recommend and implement improvements in finance processes, reporting systems, and controls.Skills & Competencies- Strong understanding of accounting principles and full finance cycle.- Experience with account finalization, fee management, vendor payments, and financial reporting.- Prior experience in a school/institutional environment is preferred.- Attention to detail, accuracy, and strong analytical skills.- High integrity, transparency, and confidentiality in handling financial data.- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.- Ability to manage multiple finance activities simultaneously.- Proficiency in accounting software, ERP systems, and MS Excel
