Role Overview

We are looking for a Sales & Marketing Executive who will be responsible for driving revenue through advertising banners on the Odisha.News app and website. The role involves identifying potential clients, pitching media solutions, and building long-term partnerships with brands, agencies, and local businesses.

  • Key Responsibilities
    Develop and execute sales strategies to bring advertising revenue to Odisha.News.
  • Identify and connect with potential advertisers (local, regional, and national brands).
  • Pitch customized ad solutions (banner ads, native ads, sponsored content, video ads, push notifications, etc.) to clients.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, media agencies, and partners.
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Work closely with the editorial and marketing team to create advertiser-friendly packages.
  • Stay updated on digital media trends, competitor offerings, and client needs.
  • Prepare sales reports and track performance metrics.
  • Requirements
    Proven experience (1–5 years) in media sales, digital advertising, or brand partnerships.
  • Strong network with advertisers, agencies, and businesses (Odisha market knowledge preferred).
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and comfortable with field sales.
  • Understanding of digital ad formats (Google Ads, Native Ads, Programmatic, Social Media Ads) is a plus.
