Role Overview
We are looking for a Sales & Marketing Executive who will be responsible for driving revenue through advertising banners on the Odisha.News app and website. The role involves identifying potential clients, pitching media solutions, and building long-term partnerships with brands, agencies, and local businesses.
- Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute sales strategies to bring advertising revenue to Odisha.News. - Identify and connect with potential advertisers (local, regional, and national brands).
- Pitch customized ad solutions (banner ads, native ads, sponsored content, video ads, push notifications, etc.) to clients.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, media agencies, and partners.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Work closely with the editorial and marketing team to create advertiser-friendly packages.
- Stay updated on digital media trends, competitor offerings, and client needs.
- Prepare sales reports and track performance metrics.
- Requirements
Proven experience (1–5 years) in media sales, digital advertising, or brand partnerships. - Strong network with advertisers, agencies, and businesses (Odisha market knowledge preferred).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and comfortable with field sales.
- Understanding of digital ad formats (Google Ads, Native Ads, Programmatic, Social Media Ads) is a plus.
