The ideal candidate will bring strong technical depth, creative problem-solving, and leadership to drive innovation, build a culture of ownership, and align R&D efforts with market and customer needs.The candidate should have hands-on experience in polymer compounding of engineering thermoplastics such as PBT, PA6, PA66, PC, ABS, and their blends, preferably for automotive, electrical & electronics (E&E), and white goods applicationsKey ResponsibilitiesAccountable for end-to-end product development – from concept, formulation, and raw material qualification to testing, scale-up, and application validationDrive joint product development and technical communication with LATI Italy, ensuring effective knowledge exchange, project alignment, and technology transferDevelop and optimize polymer compounds to meet performance, regulatory, and cost requirements across automotive, electrical & electronics (E&E), and industrial applicationsIdentify and implement new technologies, additives, and sustainable materials to strengthen LATI-LOXIM’s innovation pipeline and product competitivenessCollaborate closely with production, quality, and technical service teams to ensure smooth scale-up and consistent product performanceSupport customer trials, technical presentations, and OEM approvals, working jointly with sales and application teamsPartner with procurement and supply chain to qualify new suppliers and alternate materials amid raw material or cost challengesEnsure all testing, certifications, and documentation (UL, REACH, ROHS, etc.) are completed accurately and within timelinesMaintain regulatory compliance, lab discipline, and effective data management across R&D operationsDevelop the right team – build technical capability, accountability, and a culture of innovation within the R&D functionTrack industry trends, competitor products, and emerging technologies to identify next-generation opportunitiesSkills and KnowledgeStrong understanding of engineering thermoplastics (PBT, PA6, PA66, PC, ABS), additives, fillers, flame retardants, and structure–property relationships.Hands-on experience with twin-screw extrusion, compounding, and polymer characterization, including MFI, DSC, TGA, tensile, and impact testing.Knowledge of OEM specifications, testing standards, and applications in automotive, E&E, and industrial segments.Experience in cross-functional collaboration and coordination with global R&D, production, and quality teamDo you thrive in a fast-paced environment where precision, compliance, and innovation intersect?If so, we’d love to meet youApply now:
