Role Description
We are looking for a
full-time on-site Animal Care Coordinator
to join our team in Dehradun. This role involves overseeing the daily care and well-being of the animals at the shelter, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, and guiding the animal care staff.
Responsibilities include managing feeding schedules, supervising cleaning routines, monitoring animal health, and ensuring timely administration of medicines. You may also be required to assist in rescue operations on the roads, provide first aid, and deal with visitors or volunteers who come to the shelter. This position is hands-on and deeply rewarding—if you are an
animal lover, it truly feels like a dream job.
Qualifications
- Skills in Animal Care, Animal Health, and Animal Science
- Knowledge of Animal Welfare practices
- Strong
observational, organizational, and communication skills - Research skills relevant to animal care and treatments
- Excellent observation and documentation skills
- Compassionate and patient demeanor with animals
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Previous experience in an animal shelter or similar setting is a plus
- Should be an animal lover
