Position Overview:

We are seeking highly skilled Engineers with expertise in networking protocols, test management, troubleshooting, and automation. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of NIC adapters, networking stacks, NIC drivers and OS-level debugging different distros of Windows. You will play a key role in developing, executing, and managing test cases while troubleshooting complex hardware and software issues in various environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Networking Protocols and Performance :

  • Design, develop, and execute test plans for S2D cluster and networking protocols like NIC, RDMA (ROCE, iWARP, iSER) and TCP/IP on Windows Operating System.
  • Work with link aggregation, load balancing, and NIC adapters to ensure high-performance networking.

Test Lifecycle Management :

  • Manage the complete test lifecycle, including test architecture, test case design, execution, reporting, and bug tracking.
  • Collaborate with OEM customers and field engineers to address gaps in test plans and deliver solutions.

Troubleshooting and Debugging :

  • Perform advanced troubleshooting for hardware compatibility, driver conflicts, and network performance issues.
  • Proven experience with kernel debugging tools and techniques, such as GDB, crash dumps, and system logs, with a track record of resolving complex driver issues.
  • Utilize diagnostic tools such as Wireshark, Xgig, PCIe Analyzers, for network stack analysis and debugging.

Certification and Compliance :

  • Support certification processes, including WHQL (windows Certification).
  • Ensure products meet certification standards and resolve issues that arise during the certification process.

Automation and Scripting :

  • Automate testing and system configuration using scripting languages like Python and Powershell.
  • Create scripts to optimize testing processes and improve system efficiency.

Server and Chassis Configuration :

  • Configure and troubleshoot complex server environments, including HPE Synergy, Dell NGM, HPE, Dell, Lenovo, and Cisco servers.
  • Ensure optimal system configuration and performance for a variety of enterprise server platforms.

Qualifications:

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience: 5-10 years of experience in network protocol testing, system integration, and certification processes.
  • Technical Expertise:
  • Strong experience with NIC adapters and deep understanding of DPDK and networking protocols such as RDMA (ROCE, iWARP, iSER), and TCP/IP.
  • Proficiency in test management tools like qTest and JIRA.
  • Expertise in kernel-level debugging, hardware compatibility troubleshooting, and network performance diagnostics.
  • Experience with Windows Operating Systems.
  • Hands-on experience with tools like IOMeter, Medusa, Hazard, and FIO for performance testing.
  • Familiarity with server platforms, including HPE, Dell, Lenovo, and Cisco hardware.
  • Strong scripting skills (Powershell, Python) for automation.
  • Certification experience WHQL (windows Certification).
  • Problem-Solving: Exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to tackle and resolve challenging issues in storage drivers and systems.
