Job Title: Senior Business Analyst

Overview

A Senior Business Analyst has 8+ experience. They are a key part of the team and expected to take the initiative in ensuring the business needs of our client are fully documented, understood and met by the proposed solution.

Responsibilities

1. Gather and document complex requirements and translate them into clear user stories and

- acceptance criteria that can be used and interpreted by both business and technical users.

1. This will involve planning, running and facilitating workshops, and assessing source documentation from the customer2. Identify and recommend options for potential solutions and assessing them for both technical and business suitability3. Create logical and innovative solutions to complex problems4. Present proposals to clients5. Manage a scrum / delivery team through to go live6. Analyze business systems in order to recommend efficiencies7. Provide estimates for future analysis work8. Work closely with developers and a variety of end users to ensure all solutions deliver customer satisfaction9. Provide training to users of a new system as required10. Communicate and collaborate with the test team11. Plan and work flexibly to meet deadlines12. Keep up to date with technical and industry sector advances13. Maintain great client relationships at all levels of the organization14. Maintain consistently high levels of client satisfaction and effectively escalating business critical situations to as required15. Manage situations and relationships both internally and externally

Required skills/experience

1. You will have 8-12+ years’ experience working as a Senior Business Analyst on large ecommerce projects.2. Experience of working supplier side and managing client stakeholders and 3rd parties3. Able to plan, and run large workshops with senior client stakeholders and manage senior4. stakeholders effectively5. Highly proactive, talented, enthusiastic, focused, eye for detail, professional. Keen to learn and to challenge for smarter ways of doing things; a team player proud of their work who wants to share it.6. You like working in a fast-paced environment and are ready to inspire outstanding online7. shopper experiences for consumers and brands, no matter what product, service, sector, device or channel8. You will be happy working at client locations when needed9. Experience of Agile software delivery10. Business Process mapping and engineering11. eCommerce and retail / brand experience12. Production of high-quality user stories and acceptance criteria13. Analysis and design of systems (package integration and bespoke development)14. Ability to work on your own initiative to an agreed action plan15. Strong communication skills - as this role requires a high level of communication, interpersonal and presentation skills16. Strong problem solving, time management and organizational skills17. Strong commercial awareness and business acumen18. Energetic, enthusiastic with strong attention to detail

Preferred qualifications / experience

1. Scrum master qualification2. Certified Scrum Product Owner3. Experience working with multiple different ecommerce platforms
