About DS/AI Competency Center:

Focuses on leveraging data, analytics, and artificial intelligence (AI) technologies to extract insights, build predictive models, and develop AI powered solutions. Utilizes Exploratory Data Analysis, Statistical Modeling and Machine Learning, Model Deployment, and Integration as well as Model Monitoring and Maintenance. Delivers business solutions using multiple AI techniques and tools.

Responsibilities:

AI / Data Science & Optimization Delivery – Data Scientist (50%-75% - depending on team size):

  • Project delivery of your team in the areas of Data Science, optimization, Machine Learning and supporting delivery of collaborative projects from different teams of DS&AI CoE and broader Lingaro organization.
  • Especially: advising on the AI/DS architecture, best practices, concepts etc. Assuring technical quality and excellence in architecture.
  • Researching and preparing solutions for common DS/ML projects problems, defining the guidelines for team members and the whole competency.
  • Be able to take Project Manager /Tech Leader role when needed.
  • Being up-to-date with DS/AI/ML and AI market trends.
  • Alternative, billable capacity as Project Manager with (50%-75%) focus on DS/AI type projects

Team management (25%-50% - depending on team size):

  • People management:
    • Ensure high utilization for team members by timely staffing projects and other engagements, building awareness of DS outside competency and building relationships with key stakeholders
    • Regular checkpoints with team members, overseeing their long-term growth and satisfaction,
    • Being a role model for the team; promoting integrity and follow up with processes
    • Building team atmosphere and ensure members wellbeing.

  • DS/AI competency development:
    • Developing and maintaining team operating rhythm
    • Support DS/AI Competency strategy implementation.
    • Develop DSO/AI Sub-Competency strategy
    • Proactively participate in improving competency unit in Lingaro, by leading initiatives, taking part in leaders discussions

  • Business development and profitability:
    • Collaborate with ADMs on offers effort estimation and costing.
    • Help Team Members to search for new opportunities, take responsibility for some presales processes.
    • Support offers and presentations (e.g., success stories) preparation.
    • Support developing DS&AI CoE business within the area by presales support and additional actions.
    • Ensuring profitability on a team at and individual level

  • Customer satisfaction
    • Helping team members to achieve high customer satisfaction on their tasks.
    • Building and maintaining relations with customers (mostly through close cooperation during project acquisition, delivery and maintenance).

Requirements:

Must Have:

  • Previous experience as a Team Leader, Project Manager, Tech Leader role or similar position on in Data&Analytics, preferably DS/AI.
  • Working with stakeholders on different seniority and maturity level
  • Very good communication skills and strong stakeholder management skills
  • Drive to understand business requirements
  • Ability to combine technical and business topics
  • Very good client skills
  • Experience in the following roles: data scientists, ADM, project manager, business analyst.
  • Experience in people management, customer management, project delivery.
  • Strong, proven knowledge and experience in the following fields: Machine Learning, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence,
  • Presentation skills.
  • High ambition, motivation, and passion to achieve things that no one achieved before.

Nice to have:

  • Strong experience in CPG industry.
  • Knowledge and experience in BI, DWH, Cloud solutions etc.
  • Knowledge of ML Ops, solution operationalization, DevOps.
