We G-TEC Robotic Campus, currently seeking a passionate and experienced Faculty of Digital Marketing Specialist cum Trainer with Graphic Design expertise to join our team at Perumbavoor campus. This full-time, on-site position involves delivering high-quality education to students by developing and teaching curriculum that covers various aspects of graphic design. The role includes mentoring students, assessing their progress, collaborating with other faculty members to enhance the program, and staying updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our courses remain current and competitive.
Responsibilities
Develop and deliver comprehensive lesson plans and coursework in Graphic Design.
Teach a range of subjects including typography, branding, digital illustration, UI/UX design, and multimedia design.
Provide mentorship and guidance to students, fostering their creative and technical skills.
Evaluate and assess students' work through projects, assignments, and examinations.
Collaborate with the academic team to continuously improve and update the curriculum.
Organize and participate in workshops, seminars, and industry visits to enhance practical learning experiences.
Stay abreast of current trends, tools, and technologies in the graphic design industry.
Contribute to the development of departmental policies and procedures.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field (Diploma with significant industry experience may also be considered).
Minimum of 2 years teaching experience in graphic design at the college or industrial level.
Strong professional portfolio showcasing a wide range of design projects.
Proficiency in industry-standard design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Corel Draw, InDesign, XD, Figma).
In-depth knowledge of design principles, typography, color theory, branding, and digital media.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire and motivate students.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented academic environment.
Experience with curriculum development and instructional design is a plus.
