Position Overview:

As a Quality Control Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and reliability. You will be responsible for inspecting, testing, and evaluating incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products/services to identify any defects or deviations from specifications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to address quality issues, implement corrective actions, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities:

- Conduct thorough inspections of incoming materials, components, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.- Perform various tests and analyses using appropriate tools and equipment to assess product quality and functionality.- Document inspection and test results accurately and maintain detailed records of quality control activities.- Identify and report any non-conformities, defects, or deviations from quality standards to relevant stakeholders.- Collaborate with production, engineering, and other departments to address quality issues and implement corrective/preventive actions.- Participate in root cause analysis and problem-solving activities to resolve quality issues and improve processes.- Monitor and enforce compliance with quality assurance policies, procedures, and regulations.- Assist in the development and implementation of quality control procedures and protocols.- Contribute to the training and development of employees on quality control processes and best practices.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Quality Assurance, Engineering, Manufacturing) or equivalent work experience.- Proven experience in quality control/assurance within a manufacturing or production environment.- Strong knowledge of quality control principles, methodologies, and tools.- Proficiency in using measurement and testing equipment (e.g., calipers, gauges, spectrophotometers).- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.- Knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) is a plus.- Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Quality Technician, Certified Quality Engineer) are desirable.
