Position Summary: Dayananda Sagar University invites applications for the position of Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science Engineering. The ideal candidate will have over 15+ years of total teaching/research/industry experience with a minimum of 5+ years post-PhD academic experience. The candidate should demonstrate excellence in teaching, research, and leadership, contributing to the university’s academic and research goals. Key Responsibilities: Deliver high-quality teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels in Computer Science Engineering. Guide and mentor students for projects, theses, and research activities. Lead and contribute to research initiatives, publish in reputed journals, and present at conferences. Develop innovative curriculum and course materials in line with industry trends and academic standards. Supervise PhD scholars and foster a research-oriented environment within the department. Participate in departmental administration, academic committees, and university initiatives. Collaborate with industry and academia for consultancy projects, workshops, and seminars. Engage in continuous professional development and promote interdisciplinary research. Qualifications and Experience: PhD in Computer Science Engineering or related field from a recognized university. Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in teaching, research, or industry. At least 5 years of experience as an Assistant Professor or Associate Professor post-PhD. Strong publication record in reputed international journals and conferences. Proven track record in securing research funding and leading projects is preferred. Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills. Expertise in one or more areas such as Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Cybersecurity, Software Engineering, Networking, or related fields is desirable. Preferred Skills: Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams. Experience in curriculum design and accreditation processes. Strong network with academic and industry professionals.
