Role & responsibilities:

  • Ensuring the integrity of the rotating equipment such as Fans, APH, ESP, and Milling System & associated Duct & Dampers.
  • Plan, organize, lead and control shutdowns for rotating equipment of Boiler Sections.
  • Smooth functioning of Department with the coordination to cross functional departmental functions.
  • To ensure maximum availability of Rotating Equipment (Fans, APH, ESP, Milling System & associated duct & Dampers) with preventive, predictive and planned maintenance as per standards with benchmarked of best in the industry.
  • To ensure timely proactive approach to inspect the all critical equipment during opportunity based shutdown to avoid any instance of Breakdown for accounting in forced outage.
  • Performing Maintenance of Rotating equipment on CBM Vibration standard with requirement of ISO 10816 system.
  • Assessment of Lube oil analysis of fans, Coal Mills, & Air preheater equipment by defined schedule with followed of WDA quarterly scheduled with requirement of NAS 1638 or ISO 4406 standard.
  • To prepare the Scope of work with Battery limit & required manpower & T&P, consumables requirement for Boiler Rotating equipment with addition of learning of each & every executed outage in scope for improvement aspects.
  • Plan and manage the time, manpower for executing major overhauls and thereafter preparing maintenance reports for all overhauling work with modify/addition of tasks for future work to minimize the work time.
  • To ensure safety stock of each spares & consumable respective equipment & function wise with coordination of Purchase team.
  • Collaborate with other departments to schedule maintenance activities, minimizing downtime and aligning with production schedules.

Tools & Technologies:

Diagnostic Tools: Proficiency in using various tools and equipment, such as pressure gauges, multimeter's, and combustion analyzer's, to perform diagnostics and repairs.

CMMS: Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for

tracking maintenance activities.
