Overview The Senior Technical Architect – Generative AI and Agent Factory is responsible for leading the end-to-end architecture, design, and strategic enablement of Pepsi Co's enterprise-grade Gen AI platforms—Pep Gen X, Agent Factory, and Pep Vigil. This role defines scalable, event-driven agent orchestration frameworks, modular agent templates, and integration patterns that enable intelligent, governed, and reusable agent ecosystems. The position plays a pivotal role in accelerating the deployment of AI-driven solutions across commercial, reporting, and enterprise automation use cases . Responsibiliti es Architect and govern the design of scalable, modular AI agent frameworks (Agent Mesh, Orchestrator, Memory, Canvas) for enterprise-wide reuse ., Define event-driven orchestration and agentic execution patterns (e.g., Temporal, Lang Graph, AST-RAG, reflection) to enable intelligent, context-aware workflows ., Drive platform integration across Pep Gen X, Agent Factory, and Pep Vigil to ensure consistency in observability, security, and orchestration patterns ., Develop reusable agent templates, blueprints, and context frameworks (e.g., MCP, semantic caching) to accelerate use case onboarding across domains ., Establish architecture standards to embed Responsible AI (RAI), data privacy, and policy enforcement within Gen AI agent s, Lead technical architecture planning across delivery sprints, vendor integration tracks, and Gen AI product release s. Qualificatio ns Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related fie ld.12+ years of experience in enterprise software or AI architecture roles, with a recent focus on LLMs, Generative AI, or intelligent agen ts. Proven experience in designing and implementing agent-based frameworks or AI orchestration platfor ms. Strong understanding of technologies such as Lang Graph, Temporal, vector databases, multimodal RAGs, event-driven systems, and memory manageme nt. Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Azure AI/AKS, REST APIs, and observability stac ks. Demonstrated ability to influence enterprise architecture and guide cross-functional engineering tea ms. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholde rs.
