Job Description


Technical Consultant role in the Project Delivery function of Database Services which include to Design, Build, Configure and implement robust Oracle RDBMS platforms for customers.

Provide appropriate guidance and mentoring, build knowledge repository and share best practices with other Oracle resources/peers in the team.

• Successful implementation of major changes into production and adherence to change management in timely manner

• Contributes to improvement initiatives to internal processes and work practices.

• Must ensure Bank’s data sensitive information is not shared.

• Review changes to ensure changes are having adequate plans and have followed production change implementation guidelines.


Technical Skills, Knowledge & Experience:


• 4 to 6 years of experience in working with Oracle database technologies with strong experience of the OEM and associated plugins for monitoring and administration. • Build, configure, maintain support and administer OEM 12c (Release 1) • Plan and upgrade OEM 12c to higher releases. • Install, deploy, configure and maintain OEM Agents. Ability to automate the routine tasks as applicable. • Setup OEM 12c Ops Centre for upgrading and patching Linux, Solaris and Databases • Oracle Identity and Access Management (11.1.1.7.0) • Migrated Oracle R12.2.6 to Oracle Cloud • Upgraded over 65 Oracle 11.2 to 12c PDB database -- setup TDE security • System is a multi-application tier node with a 3 node RAC environment. • Upgraded SOA 10g to 11g and integrated with Oracle EBS R12.2 • Migrate Databases systems to Oracle using Goldengate • Setup and Configure OEM13c -- upgrade OEM12c -- Install OEM 12c OPS Manager -- creating provisioning template, developed plug-in for F5 -- migrate legacy user defined metrics. • Configure HA Site using Active Data Guard and Rac 12c Rac stretch Clusters. • Technical Expert for Oracle OVM, Vmware virtualization and Oracle Application systems on Exadata and Exalogic using ZFS Storage. • Patching & Cloning E-Business Suite Instances • Experience with WebLogic Server • Participates, reviews and leads disaster recovery exercises and planning,

• Experience in developing and applying Monitoring templates. • Strong knowledge of the entire Oracle database and Oracle Applications environment and architecture. • Strong knowledge on Application & Infrastructure monitoring tenants, and capable of implementing within the limits of OEM. • Ability to work in various scripting languages including shell, perl, python, PLSQL • Experience in Oracle Real User Experience Insight is plus. • Oracle SSO, OEM / Grid Control and Oracle RAC • UNIX Shell Scripting • Oracle Workflow • Hands-on Oracle APPS DBA experience in Oracle ERP environments. • Experience with database administration, architecture, performance tuning, DR, data management and architecture strategy, incident management, outage review, analysis and assessment in an Exadata Environment • Linux knowledge required. • Manage and support Oracle Dataguard for the disaster recovery process. • Oracle RMAN. • Understanding of ITIL processes (preferably ITIL foundation certified)

• Proven Database Design skills.

o Ability to prepare high level and detailed design for Oracle Database infrastructure solutions; support the same with relevant documentation.

• Good Problem Solving skills, Good verbal and writing skills.
