Role Description
This is a contract role for a Databricks with Spark Specialist, located on-site in Mumbai. The role involves day-to-day tasks such as designing, developing, and maintaining data pipelines using Databricks and Spark. The specialist will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality data solutions and ensure the efficient processing of large datasets. Responsibilities also include performance tuning, troubleshooting, and optimizing data workflows.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Databricks and Apache Spark
- Experience in developing data pipelines and ETL processes
- Strong skills in data analysis, data modeling, and data warehousing
- Knowledge of cloud services, preferably AWS
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate complex technical concepts clearly
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Experience in the technology sector and relevant certifications are an added advantage
