A. Position Summary:

Achieve targeted business results in Defence segment through effective translation of the business strategy into collated Branch Plans. Provide leadership and motivation to the Defence Sales team towards raising performance standards, and be a valuable resource to the Company

C. Job Specifications:

Qualifications: Graduate/ Post Graduate - MBA

Experience:

  1. 5-9 years of experience in insurance industry, preferably from defence background. Should have experience of leading a team of result oriented Managers.
  2. Extensive people management experience from defence background

Significantly contributes to long term organizational capability by building superior processes of hiring, developing and retaining a quality workforce

1.Deliverables: Plan and evaluate the effectiveness of Area Operation Plans with specific focus towards product availability, distribution and activity management within Defence network;

  1. Facilitate the business planning and implementation process for the business
  2. Effective leadership for Branch Managers/ Office Heads

2. Business Results

  1. Ensuring alignment of volume and market share objectives for the retail business facilitate for PLI products
  2. Monitor and evaluate achievement of sales against expectation

3.Customer Relationship Management- External

  1. Actively network and build relationships in the defence establishments/ cantonments
  2. Review of selling arrangements .
