Quality Control Supervisor

Candidate must have good experience on Quality control in Printing & Packaging Industry. Globe Print N Pack has opening for QC Personnel then here is your opportunity to get geared up.

To be successful in this role, high level of commitment to drive the team and in-depth knowledge and functional experience in manufacturing with skills in production, planning, and quality control. Long term commitment to the profile is required.

Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Incoming Material Inspection

  • Verify quality of raw materials (Paper, PP Sheets, Cartons, Adhesives, Inks, etc.).
  • Check supplier compliance with specifications.
  • Reject or quarantine non-conforming materials.

2. In-Process Quality Checks

  • Monitor packaging operations (e.g., filling, sealing, labeling).
  • Ensure machines are calibrated and functioning correctly.
  • Spot-check for alignment, print clarity, and seal strength.

3. Final Product Inspection

  • Inspect finished packages for:
  • Correct labeling and barcodes
  • Proper sealing and tamper evidence
  • Aesthetic defects (scratches, smudges, misprints)
  • Conduct sampling based on AQL (Acceptable Quality Level) standards.

4. Testing & Validation

  • Perform tests like:
  • Drop test
  • Compression test
  • Leak test
  • Shelf-life simulation
  • Validate packaging against regulatory and customer requirements.

5. Documentation & Reporting

  • Record inspection results and deviations.
  • Maintain traceability of batches.
  • Prepare quality reports for audits and reviews.
  • Prepare COA for every Order and Circulate to respective team member

6. Non-Conformance Handling

  • Identify and segregate defective items.
  • Initiate CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Action).
  • Collaborate with QA and production to resolve issues.

7. Compliance & Standards

  • Ensure packaging meets industry standards (e.g., ISO, GMP, FDA).
  • Support internal and external audits.
  • Stay updated on regulatory changes.

* QUALITY -

  • To work on all parameters of Quality in Inward, In Process and Outward Goods. Including setting up the systems and processes and lead the team towards achieving set goals.
  • Set detailed guidelines on what needs to be checked and what the quality standards are.
  • Update our Quality Management System (QMS) with incidents, fixes, and improvements.
  • Determine quality metrics for all manufacturing procedures.
  • Monitor the entire production cycle and perform regular tests to identify potential malfunctions as early as possible

* SUPPORT -

Offer high level of technology support to Sales and Purchase departments, in order to facilitate and impart speed to processes.

Work with internal teams to increase customer satisfaction by improving the quality of the products and by solving customer queries.

MAINTENANCE - Maintenance of all machines & equipment's at the factory.

Requirements and skills:

  • Previous work experience as a Quality Supervisor or similar role in printing & packaging or similar industry.
  • Exposure to Systems & Testing Equipment's would be added advantage.
  • In-depth understanding of technical documentation.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Team spirit & Team management Skills.
  • Good analytical skills.

Experience of Industry:

  • Printing & Packaging (Paper Board, PP Sheets, PET Sheets)
  • FMCG Industry

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹22, ₹25,000.00 per month
