We are looking for a Freelance Junior Mechanical Engineer to support our client’s industrial projects on a project-by-project basis. This is a remote, freelance role tailored for candidates with foundational experience in mechanical engineering and strong 3D modeling skills. Key Responsibilities Convert 2D drawings into detailed 3D models using SolidWorks Prepare technical and manufacturing drawings based on 3D designs Participate in the design and development process for machinery and components Support manufacturing documentation for industrial equipment Collaborate remotely with the team to complete assigned project tasks within deadlines What We’re Looking For Minimum 1 year of experience in mechanical design or related fields Proficiency in SolidWorks is a must Understanding of technical drawings and the ability to create production-ready drawings Ability to work independently and manage task-based deadlines Strong communication and professional working proficiency in English Work Structure & Compensation This is a project-based freelance position No fixed daily working hours — we value on-time delivery over clocked hours If you're an early-career mechanical engineer with SolidWorks experience and looking to contribute to international industrial projects in a flexible freelance capacity , we’d love to hear from you.
