Job Title: Senior Engineer / Assistant ManagerJob Family: EHS BU: Renewable (Solar and Wind)Location: Project Sites (Pan-India) Role Overview:We are looking for a proactive Senior Engineer or Assistant Manager – EHS to oversee and ensure the highest standards of safety, health, and environmental practices at our utility-scale solar & wind power construction sites. This role involves implementing EHS plans, monitoring site activities, ensuring statutory compliance, and promoting a strong safety culture among all site personnel. Key Responsibilities to be delivered: Implement and monitor site-specific EHS plans and risk assessments. Ensure compliance with Indian Legal, statutory regulations and company EHS standards. Conduct daily safety inspections, toolbox talks, and EHS inductions for workers. Monitor high-risk activities such as working at height, lifting operations, and electrical works. Maintain all EHS documentation, permits, and statutory records. Investigate incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures. Organize safety awareness programs and emergency mock drills. Support environmental initiatives including waste management and pollution control. ESG reporting and data collection and monitoring at sites.Qualifications required: Diploma / B. E / B. Tech in Engineering with a recognized university.ADIS / PDIS / NEBOSH qualification certified. Experience required from 3 years to 10 years in EHS for solar / Wind construction projects. ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 Internal / External certification is an added advantage. Internal / External and client audits to be handled and compliance. Skills & Competencies: Strong knowledge of EHS laws, standards, and best practices. Good communication skills for engaging contractors and workers. Hands-on approach to site safety monitoring and incident management. Ability to work in remote project locations. Ability to manage independently one or more sites and clients.Willing to travel as per job requirement for audit / client visit.
