In collaboration with Hard.Coded, a leader in software development and technological solutions, we are assembling a high-performance team to deliver a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) within 6 months. By leveraging the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React, Node.js), we aim to create a solution that is scalable, robust, and cutting-edge. The selected candidates will be part of a dynamic environment where creativity meets technology, leading to unparalleled user experiences and groundbreaking branding strategies.


The Branding Club and Hard.Coded are looking for a Scrum Master to facilitate and guide one of our two scrum teams. This role is pivotal in ensuring that our project maintains high velocity and adherence to Agile principles, enabling the team to deliver a groundbreaking MVP within an ambitious timeline. As a Scrum Master, you will act as a coach, mentor, and facilitator, removing obstacles and fostering an environment where the team can perform at their highest level.


Responsibilities

  • Facilitate sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Work closely with the Product Owner to ensure the backlog is groomed and ready for execution.
  • Act as a coach to the team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and high performance.
  • Identify and remove impediments to the team’s progress, whether internal or external to the team.
  • Ensure the team adheres to Agile principles and practices, adapting the process as needed to meet project goals.
  • Protect the team from outside distractions and interferences.


Must-Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields.
  • Proven experience as a Scrum Master or in a similar role in Agile teams.
  • Strong understanding of Scrum and other Agile methodologies.
  • Excellent facilitation, communication, and team-building skills.
  • Ability to deal with conflict and resolve issues to benefit the team and project.
  • Experience with software development projects, preferably in a MERN stack environment.


Nice to Haves

  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or similar Agile certification.
  • Experience working in high-pressure, fast-paced environments.
  • A background in technical project management or software development.
