Technique Solaire is a French independent producer of solar electricity, founded in 2008, leading the PV rooftop market in France, India, Netherland & Spain, with more than 200 employees and an annual turnover of 250 million euros.

We are experts in developing, financing, building and operating solar projects. We own and operate 300+ MWp of assets in France, Netherlandsand India and have more than 1,8 GWp of projects in construction and development.

Our Indian subsidiary, Technique Solaire India, has been active since 2015 with approx. 75MW of Operational solar projects (4 ground and 2 rooftop projects) and pipeline of approx. 150MW.

We aim to quickly expand our activities in India. Our target is to have 300 MWp of operational projects in the country by the end of 2024.


Responsabilities: 

The position is located in Delhi NCR, from where you frequently travel throughout India. You report directly to the director of our Indian subsidiary and are assisted by our French team when needed.

You have a key position in our Indian subsidiary. Your will be in charge of developing our portfolio of solar projects (rooftop, ground-mounted, floating, carport):

  • Track the tenders in various states and explore commercial alternatives (incl. PPA, merchant)
  • Follow latest market trends including competition analysis, change in regulations, new technologies
  • Identification of interesting sites/buildings all over the country
  • Contact with the land owners / aggregators for land bank
  • Identification of the grid connection or self-consumption solution
  • Elaborate lease proposal
  • Negotiation and signing of a lease agreement.
  • Permits: grid feasibility study, land conversion permits and other authorisations in coordination with EPC
  • Preparing the projects for submissions to tenders
  • Assess project profitability
  • Develop and maintain commercial relationship with key industry players including developers, equipment suppliers, EPC and O&M providers


Qualifications: 

  • You have knowledge & experience of preferably at least 3 years in the solar energy industry in India & have knowledge of regulations pertaining to different states.
  • Responsible for conceptualizing a greenfield solar project across states in India
  • You speak fluently English and Hindi.
  • You are deeply involved, proactive, organized and able to work independently.
  • Competency in MS Office applications with high standards of presentation skills
  • Excellent communication skills with matching business etiquettes
