About the Role:
Niko Lifts and Escalators is seeking a skilled and motivated
Installation Technician
with
2+ years of hands-on experience
in the
elevator and escalator industry
. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient installation of lifts and escalators at various client sites, ensuring compliance with company standards and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install elevators, escalators, and related systems as per technical drawings and specifications
- Perform wiring, alignment, and testing of equipment
- Coordinate with project managers and other technicians on-site
- Ensure safety protocols are strictly followed
- Maintain tools and equipment in proper working condition
- Prepare and submit basic installation reports
Requirements:
- Minimum
2 years of experience
in the lifts and escalators field - Technical knowledge of installation procedures and safety standards
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Willingness to travel to different project sites
