The Role:
Senior Scrum Master / SAFe Team Coach:
Key Responsibilities:
- 100% dedicated role of Sr. Scrum Master responsible for more than one teams.
- Overlapping EST Shift availability working from India (any Indian city will do as long as could work in overlapping time zone).
- Strong communication skills (written as well as verbal).
- Possess a reasonable understanding of the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
- Effective facilitating skills specially conducting PI Planning sessions.
- Prior experience working with Scrum and Kanban methodologies, or a hybrid of the two and any work experience with JIRA and/or Target Process tool will also be an added advantage.
- Certified as Scrum Master and at least one SAFe certification like SAFe Agilist or SAFe Scrum Master.
- The candidate needs to be really good in communication and prior experience working with US clients is a must.
- The candidate could be from development background with total of 10 years’ experience with 5+ years as Scrum Master.
- Guide multiple scrum teams on Agile/Scrum principles and practices.
- Leads inexperienced teams and coach them to a higher level of maturity.
- Develops multiple self-organizing teams.
- Assess the maturity of multiple scrum teams and coach the teams to higher levels of maturity.
- Remove impediments or guide the team to remove impediments.
- Experience and knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency.
- Able to quickly learn and utilize software tools.
- Build a trusting and safe team environment.
- Holds team accountable to their commitments in delivery.
- Leads internal and external communication for their Scrum Teams.
- Support the Product Owner with respect to refining and maintaining the product backlog.
