One of the most critical roles is that of a process associates who mentor/guide the associates towards ensuring meeting the customer expectation by following our standard work practice keeping safety & quality in mind.Key job responsibilitieso Daily Management of shift:o Administrative management of associateso Job allocation to associateso Monitoring and mentoring of associates on productivity, quality and safety.o Monitor status of counts and problem solve queueso Responsible for shift quality and associated action planso Preparing and implementing training and development plans for associateso Conduct a 4M and 5S audit for the respective work stations on a daily basiso Stand-in for Area ManagerAbout the teamAt Outbound Department, we are currently a team of 8 Area Managers, 2 Team Leads and 13 Process Assistants. Outbound process typically starts from picking up a unit from bin (shelving area) when an order is attached to Fulfillment Centre (FC). This is followed by packing of the shipment units in specific process paths using the recommended carton/box/paper mailers along with p-slip and then it is slammed where shipment label is affixed to the shipment. Thereafter it is sent to FC Dock for shipping it from FC to Sort Centre (SC)/Last Mile (LM).BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:- 1+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience- High school or equivalent- Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays- Can lift up to 49 pounds, stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, and be able to frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach- Work 40 hours/week, and overtime as requiredPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:- 1+ years of Amazon Amnesty Floor Monitoring experienceOur inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
