Accountant

Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accountant to join our Accounting team at iCIMS’ Center of Excellence in India. This role will support key accounting functions, including journal entries, month-end close activities, account reconciliations, and compliance with accounting standards and internal controls. Responsibilities Prepare and post journal entries to the general ledger, including but not limited to cash activity, accruals, amortization, adjustments & reclasses. Support various accounting analyses in accordance with U.S. team guidance or SOPs. Maintain and monitor various accounting schedules and registers, such as fixed assets, prepaids and others. Adhere to established escalation protocols where necessary. Ensure timely completion of assigned tasks and adhere to monthly close deadlines. Assist with internal and external audits and provide supporting documentation. Establish comprehensive standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all relevant processes and areas of responsibility. Identify opportunities for process improvements and recommend practical enhancements. Adhere to standardized financial and record keeping procedures of the company Protect organization's value by keeping confidential information Demonstrate consistent integrity and ensure alignments with iCIMS policies, procedures, and core competencies. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Commerce, or related field Minimum of 3 years of relevant accounting experience Experience working with ERP software, NetSuite is preferred Demonstrated proficiency using Microsoft Excel Basic knowledge of U.S. GAAP is required Strong organization skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively Ability to think creatively and critically, adapt to change, and maintain high-quality standards in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey ideas clearly and professionally EEO Statement iCIMS is a place where everyone belongs.
