Job Title : Assistant Manager - Business Development
Location : New Delhi
Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and high-performing professional with experience in the business development and sales of  Architectural/Decorative Lighting Products  or related  Architectural Products . The ideal candidate will excel in customer acquisition and revenue growth while contributing to our company’s innovative and competitive edge in a niche market.
As an Assistant Manager, you will identify and pursue new business opportunities, build lasting relationships with  Architects, Interior Designers, Contractors, and High-End Clients , and collaborate with our executive team to develop and implement sales strategies aligned with our business goals. Achieving monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets is a critical aspect of this role.
Key Responsibilities
Drive business development and sales of Architectural and Decorative Lighting Products.
Build and nurture strong relationships with  Architectural and Interior Design firms ,  Contractors , and  Premium Clients .
Take ownership of lead conversion, project specifications, and sales closures.
Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
Support marketing initiatives, promotions, and training sessions.
Enhance brand presence through  social media outreach  and targeted engagement strategies.
Collaborate with the team to ensure seamless execution of tasks and objectives.
Qualifications & Skills
Experience : Minimum 3–4 years in Architectural or Decorative Lighting sales or related Architectural Products.
Education :
Degree/Diploma in Architecture, Interior Design, or Lighting Design.
Management graduates with an MBA from a reputed institute are preferred.
Technical Proficiency : Strong command of  MS Office .
Sales Expertise : Proven ability to engage, demonstrate, and close sales in a premium brand or service-oriented industry.
Communication Skills : Exceptional written and verbal communication, with strong interpersonal abilities.
Attitude : Enthusiastic, driven, and confident with a keen interest in learning ILDL’s product and technology portfolio.
Flexibility : Willingness to work evenings for demonstration events and travel as needed.
Professionalism : Positive conduct in appearance, behavior, and communication.
Teamwork : Strong team player with the ability to contribute to a collaborative environment.
