Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated SAP Functional Lead to join our team. The ideal candidate will have deep functional expertise in two or more of the following SAP modules: Materials Management (MM), Production Planning (PP), Quality Management (QM), Extended Warehouse Management (EWM), and Business Warehouse (BW - Support). This role requires a combination of hands-on functional experience, leadership capabilities, and the ability to manage and support a high-performing team of SAP consultants. The candidate will be responsible for driving solution design, ensuring effective support operations, leading project initiatives, and improving business processes across the SAP landscape.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide expert-level support and configuration in at least two core modules: MM, PP, QM, EWM, and BW (Support).
Translate business requirements into SAP functional solutions.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues, working closely with business users and technical teams.
Lead and mentor a team of SAP functional consultants across modules.
Guide the team in project delivery, issue resolution, and ongoing support activities.
Foster a collaborative environment to promote knowledge sharing and skill development.
Act as the primary escalation point for SAP-related functional issues.
Manage client expectations, ensuring timely resolution and high satisfaction.
Conduct performance reviews, status updates, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
Oversee the functional support lifecycle including incident resolution, change management, and root cause analysis.
Ensure compliance with ITIL best practices and minimize business disruptions.
Identify opportunities for process enhancement and optimization within SAP modules.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
Lead SAP rollout, implementation, and enhancement projects across supported modules.
Develop project plans, manage risks, and ensure successful delivery within scope, time, and budget.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
7+ years of SAP functional experience with hands-on expertise in at least two of the following: MM, PP, QM, EWM, BW (Support).
Strong understanding of module integration and business process alignment.
Proven leadership and team management experience.
Experience in handling client escalations, stakeholder communications, and service delivery.
Familiarity with SAP best practices, ITIL processes, and structured problem-solving.
SAP certifications in relevant modules are a plus.
Project management experience (SAP rollouts, upgrades, enhancements) is highly desirable.
