Job Description

The Assistant General Manager (AGM) – Government Projects is responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale projects associated with district and state government agencies. The role requires strong expertise in managing government contracts, ensuring compliance with regulations, liaising with officials, and leading cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities (KRA):

  • Core Operational & Project Management
  • Lead end-to-end project management for government/public sector projects (infrastructure, transport, or IT-enabled services).
  • Oversee project planning, execution, monitoring, and closure with efficiency in budgeting, resource allocation, and timeline tracking.
  • Ensure compliance with tendering processes, procurement norms, and documentation requirements.
  • Coordinate with PSUs and State Transport Departments for smooth project execution.
  • Government Liaison & Public Relations
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in state and central government agencies.
  • Coordinate with officials for project reviews, audits, clearances, and approvals.
  • Manage escalations effectively and ensure timely resolution to avoid delays.
  • Strengthen public relations efforts to support business development in the government sector.

  • Education: BBA / MBA
  • Total Experience: Minimum 6 years
