Job Title:
GL Accountant
Summary:
Responsible for General Ledger, including but not limited to, SAP General Ledger transactions, Support Balance sheet review, reporting, SAP, IFRS, reconciliations and compliance with internal and business controls.
Responsibilities Include:
Ensure that accruals are properly recorded and analyzed Preparation of Journal Entries to comply with IFRS regulations & Supporting schedule Weekly, Monthly and Quarterly activities Manual Intercompany Invoicing GRIR Process Intercompany GL clearing and reconciliation Debt Schedule reporting Closing entries and maintaining supporting annexures Posting of recurring entries Intercompany transaction and Netting off Review, Analyze Out of Balance (OOB) report and ensure reconciliation during all month-ends Analysis of the various accounts and variances per legal entities, obtain explanation on deviations and prepare a summarized reporting on a monthly basis within scheduled time Preparation and review of Blackline account reconciliations Preparation of VAT reports in compliance with European region Ensure all Finance process in compliance with Momentive’s Accounting Policies & Procedures and ensure accuracy of General Ledger Participating in project groups in order to implement (new) accounting policies & processes as and when required Provide supporting documents and explanations for all Stat and SOX audit as and when required Identify process improvements to drive efficiencies and best practices in GL and VAT activity.
Close interface with Regional controllers.
