Role Description
Position : Purchase Coordinator
Job Overview:
Manage purchasing activities and support inventory management across multiple departments. The role involves handling purchase orders, vendor coordination, and ensuring timely availability of materials and products to meet operational needs.
Key Responsibilities:1.
Manage inventory levels by monitoring stock, forecasting future requirements, and placing orders accordingly to maintain optimal inventory.2.
Process purchase orders and coordinate with vendors to ensure the timely delivery of goods.3.
Maintain accurate records of all purchase orders, deliveries, and vendor communications.4.
Work closely with other departments such as production, finance and sales, to understand requirements and coordinate purchasing activities.5.
Ensure all incoming goods meet quality standards and resolve any issues related to quality or quantity discrepancies.
Desired Profile:1. Prior experience in a purchasing or procurement role2. Excellent communication skills3.
Proficiency in Excel and MIS.4.
Familiarity with procurement best practices, contracts, and regulatory requirements.
