Responsibilities• Design and Implementation: Architect, design, and deploy Cisco ACI solutions to meet the network infrastructure needs of the organization or clients.• Configuration Management: Configure ACI fabric, including APIC (Application Policy Infrastructure Controller) configuration, tenant creation, application network profiles (ANP), endpoint groups (EPG), and contracts.• Network Integration: Integrate ACI with existing network infrastructure, including Layer 2/3 devices, virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V), and other network services.• Policy Enforcement: Develop and enforce network policies using ACI’s policy-driven approach, ensuring security, compliance, and performance.• Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Monitor the health and performance of the ACI environment and troubleshoot issues using tools like APIC, SNMP, Syslog, and third-party monitoring solutions.• Automation and Scripting: Automate routine tasks using Python, Ansible, or other automation tools compatible with ACI to improve efficiency and reduce human error.• Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all ACI-related configurations, procedures, and policies.• Collaboration: Work closely with other IT teams, including security, server, and application teams, to ensure seamless integration and operation of the ACI environment.• Upgrades and Patching: Plan and execute upgrades, patches, and maintenance for the ACI infrastructure.
Qualifications we seek in you• Experience in network engineering, with a focus on Cisco ACI.• Certification: Cisco CCNP Data Center, CCIE Data Center, or equivalent certifications in Cisco ACI.• Deep understanding of Cisco ACI architecture and components (APIC, Leaf, Spine).• Strong knowledge of network protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF, VXLAN, MP-BGP).• Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).• Familiarity with scripting and automation tools (Python, Ansible).• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.• Team Player: Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.Preferred Qualifications/ Skills• Strong communicator – English in spoken and written form• Advanced Certification: Cisco CCIE Data Center.• Cloud Integration: Experience with integrating ACI with public clouds (AWS, Azure).• DevOps Practices: Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps methodologies as they relate to network automation.• Project Management: Experience managing or leading network infrastructure projects.
