Location: Noida


Position Summary:

Pentair is currently seeking IoT Application QA Engineer on contract of 6months(extendable) for IoT projects in the Smart Products & IoT Strategic Innovation Centre in India team. This role is responsible for implementing the application testing activities for IoT projects.


Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Writing and executing test cases in following areas of IoT application -
  • Cloud Server Side / API
  • Web Application
  • Mobile App (iOS & Android)
  • Integration with Enterprise systems
  • Testing using IoT Device simulator
  • Test Automation of mobile and web applications


Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related Engineering discipline;
  • 1+ years of experience in testing Good to have, 1+ years of experience in the Smart Products & IoT area.
  • Preferred Experience in web & mobile app automation frameworks using Selenium & appium
  • Preferred Experience in Automation testing in AWS Cloud environment.
  • Experience in Rest APIs testing using postman, soapUI
  • Experience in Performance testing using Automation Frameworks using SOAP UI, Jmeter for large applications.
  • Experience in all stages of Software testing including Requirement gathering, Requirement Traceability matrix and Preparation of Test plan, Test case, Test Bed setup, Test Scripts & Defect tracking by using tool like Bugzilla, JIRA.
  • Experience in Validation& Verification of Software by conducting Smoke testing, Sanity testing, Black box testing, and System testing, Regression testing, Integration testing, Functional/Non-functional testing
  • Experience in complete Software testing life cycle by performing end-to end call flow for test deliverable through SDLC and methodologies like Iterative, Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
  • Skills and Abilities Required:
