Engineer Trainee

Role & responsibilities

Learn and understand forging processes (open-die, closed-die, ring rolling) and machine shop operations.

  • Study and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications for various components.
  • Observe and assist in production planning, raw material handling, and process flow.
  • Gain knowledge of quality inspection tools and techniques Vernier calipers, micrometers, hardness testers, Magnaflux testing, etc.
  • Learn tooling & die maintenance procedures in the in-house die shop.
  • Support preventive and breakdown maintenance activities for machines like drop hammers, screw presses, and CNC machines.
  • Follow safety protocols and company quality management systems (ISO 9001, TS
  • Prepare basic production and quality reports under guidance of senior engineers.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Required B.tech/Diploma (Mechanical)
  • Good Knowledge of Instruments like Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Hardness Tester , Gauges etc
  • Good Knowledge of Microsoft Teams (Word , Excel, Power Point)
