Digital Technology Products & PlatformsDigital Engineering & Product Lifecyle is a part of Digital Solution, and accountable for developing and managing digital solutions within the area of Industry 4.0 and Product Life Cycle Management - from management of master data to utilization of extended reality, simulation and configuration tools, and Industrial IoT. PTC Products is responsible for developing and managing digital solutions within PLM-suite of PTC. You will engage in a distributed team following SCRUM framework and a product increment strategy.ResponsibilitiesIn the role as PTC ThingWorx Developer, you develop and support the product team working with connected devices and IIoTEnhancing existing and developing new solutions, apps, and functionalities within PTC ThingWorx and dependent analytics systems like IoT analyticsWorking with SQL database and time series database for PTC ThingWorxPerforming root cause analysis and identifying opportunities for improvementCreating required documentation (specifications, test cases, release notes, procedures, guidelines, etc.)Perform unit/smoke/functional testing, prepare test cases, and demonstrate solutions to stakeholdersWorking with ticket management tools & processes as 3rd level supportCollaborate with Product Owners and Product architects to understand, evaluate, and convert functional requirements into technical specifications and architecture. This also includes breakdown and estimation of tasksDeveloping and modifying connection strings to and from PTC ThingWorxQualificationsBachelor's / Master's degree within any engineering specialization2-4 years of experience within PTC ThingWorx and depending analytic areaExperience with UX design is good to haveExperience with service fulfillment solutions like ServiceNow is good to haveExperience with Agile, DevOps and SCRUM is good to haveFluent in English and able to communicate effectively at all levels within the organization is requiredKnowledge of architecture design principles, patterns, and best practices is requiredExperience in defining and using different types of IoT analytics is good to haveExperience in REST, OData and API usage is good to haveTechnical knowledge of PTC ThingWorx, analytic code and related building blocks are requiredCertified Azure Data Engineer Associate is good to haveExperience with SQL and time series databases is good to haveExperience with software testing is good to haveCompetenciesGreat communicative skills, fluent in written and verbal EnglishMotivated, self committed, and result orienteered mindsetHighly effective communicator, committed to collaboration, and with a solution-oriented attitude and mindsetAbility to identify challenges and set up action plansWhat We OfferWe offer an exciting job with excellent opportunities for professional and personal development in an inspiring, progressive, high performing, and international work environment in the sustainable energy sector.
