Role Summary:
As an analyst, you'll be engaged in conducting transmission and grid planning studies for different Indian states and globally. This role provides a chance to contribute to integrating renewable energy sources into transmission networks. Additionally, you'll lead efforts in planning to integrate other clean energy technologies into distribution networks.
Key Tasks & Accountability:
Conduct cutting-edge research on integrated electrical grid systems.
Execute power system planning studies (generation, transmission, and distribution network).
Collection of data pertaining to the grid planning and optimisation.
Education and Experience:
Domain expertise and qualifications include, but are not limited to:
BE/ME in the relevant field (Electrical Engineering/Electrical & Electronics Engineering/Power Systems)
At least 2-3 years of hands-on experience in executing transmission and distribution planning studies in renewable energy sector.
Skills:
Awareness of power systems modelling paradigms across both transmission and distribution—e.g. capacity expansion, production cost, hosting capacity, integrated volt/var control, stability assessment, dynamics, transient, balanced and multi-phase power flow, etc.
Proficiency with power systems engineering concepts across both transmission and distribution systems.
Familiarity with various energy regulatory environments/jurisdictions and their impacts on grid planning and operations
Personal Attributes:
A team player with good interpersonal skills and problem-solving abilities.
A self-motivator and a collaborative team player.
Excellent time management skills and the ability to assume leadership roles when necessary.
Agile, action oriented and a quick learner.
Out of box thinker.
