Xiaomi has a strong online presence both through partners Flipkart and Amazon and our own Mi.com ecommerce portal. Apart from that, we have a very strong offline presence – both in multi-brand and exclusive outlets.


Job responsibilities:

  • Power consumption test: Responsible for power consumption tests in the fields of SOC, multimedia, network, module special projects and user experience, implementing test plans, designing test cases, and building a testing environment.
  • Problem tracking and collaboration: Track the problems found during the test, communicate with relevant departments in a timely manner and assist in solving them. Work closely with software development, architecture, hardware engineers and other teams to ensure the smooth implementation of the test plan.
  • Competitive analysis and technical research: conduct competitive analysis in the field of power consumption, excavate industry power consumption technical solutions, and promote development optimization. Lead the research of end point software power consumption testing technology, analyze software/hardware power consumption defects, and plan the development direction of testing technology.
  • Process specification and automation implementation: Responsible for formulating power consumption test process specification, writing test plan, test plan, and monitoring the implementation of the entire project test process. Promote the automation of related tests.
  • Test analysis and evaluation: Able to independently complete system power consumption test, analyze test results, locate power consumption problems, output complete power consumption evaluation report, and assist software/hardware departments to solve power consumption problems.
  • Technology introduction and efficiency improvement: According to the characteristics of the project, introduce new testing strategies, testing methods and tools to improve testing efficiency. Track and import advanced power consumption testing technologies in the industry to improve the overall testing ability of the team.
  • Team development and collaboration: Construct software power testing evaluation indicators and testing methods, establish a testing technology echelon, and guide the development of team testing technology. Have team management experience, and be able to train and promote team members.


Requirements:

  • Educational background and experience: Bachelor's degree or above, computer, communication and other related professional background, 7 + years of experience in power consumption testing and development, power consumption software research and development is preferred.
  • Professional knowledge and skills: Familiar with Android system power management framework and power scheme, familiar with android framework, familiar with Qualcomm/MTK latest platform architecture, familiar with mobile phone modules related power consumption knowledge, with strong self-learning and technical research capabilities. Familiar with linux power manager is preferred
  • Test ability: Proficient in using various power consumption test tools and equipment, able to accurately measure and record the power consumption data of the chip. Have a solid test foundation, be familiar with test design methods and tools, and be able to lead the analysis and design of cross-domain business test requirements. Familiar with the basic analysis process and methods of various power consumption problems is preferred.
  • Communication and collaboration: Good communication skills and team spirit, able to effectively coordinate the work of multiple teams, and promote the smooth implementation of the test plan.
  • Code foundation and automation ability: Have good code foundation, such as Java/Python/C and other languages, and be able to improve test efficiency by developing automated test tools. Familiar with common power analysis tools is preferred.
  • Power big data analytics capabilities: Ability to understand iterative power big data metrics and clarify power consumption issues using power big data analytics
  • Pressure resistance and sense of responsibility: able to accept urgent temporary work and tasks, strong pressure resistance, good sense of responsibility and team spirit, rigorous working attitude, and able to bear greater work pressure
