About the Opportunity:
FedTec , a dynamic and growing company, is currently in search of a highly skilled Senior Accountan t to join our team. This pivotal role involves managing all aspects of finance while gradually taking ownership of the accounting function over time. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in accounting principles, financial analysis, and regulatory compliance. They will play a key role in driving financial performance and providing strategic insights to support our business objectives. Position: Senior Accounting Manager
Work Location: Remotely from anywhere in India
Responsibilities:
- Manage a team of 4+ employees.
- Prepare and meticulously analyze financial statements in strict adherence to relevant accounting standards.
- Ensure precise and timely reporting of financial information to the management team.
- Expertly handle all facets of taxation, including the preparation and filing of tax returns, staying vigilant for changes in tax laws and regulations to maintain compliance.
- Coordinate and facilitate both internal and external audits, demonstrating a commitment to transparency and accuracy.
- Implement and uphold internal controls to safeguard the accuracy and integrity of financial data.
- Play a key role in the development of annual budgets and financial forecasts, contributing to the strategic planning of the organization.
- Monitor, analyze, and provide valuable recommendations on budget variances, actively contributing to financial performance optimization.
- Stay informed about changes in accounting and financial regulations, ensuring that our practices align with the latest standards.
- Identify and assess financial risks, developing and implementing proactive measures to mitigate potential challenges.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience showcasing a high level of expertise in accounting principles, taxation, and financial regulations.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills to navigate complex financial scenarios.
- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proficiency in financial software and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Strong communication in English and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders.
Work Schedule:
6:30 PM IST - 4:00 AM IST Monday to Friday.
