Trainee, Vendor Launch

 
What This Position Is All About:
 
The vendor launch associate plays a vital role in the successful publication of products to the Saks.com website. This function works closely with the eComm, Buying, Digital Operations and vendor teams to
ensure all launches are published on time, accurate and with the most product available. The associate works closely with the manager to review KPIs and ensure we are achieving them on a monthly,
quarterly, seasonally and yearly basis. The associate also reviews, recommends and documents process improvements.

You also have:
 
Item Launch
? Supports managers for all vendor dictated launch dates for Saks.com across all categories of business
? Partners with vendors to obtain the confirmed launch date and sample management team to obtain the complete and comprehensive list of products
? Partners with Digital Operations team to ensure all assets (samples and copy information) obtained and turned in for photography, copy completion and item setup and validation
? Partners with Item Setup Managers post production to ensure all products are live
? QA/Validates all products are setup to standard with the correct timers prior to launch
? Works with Digital Operations leadership team to identify, pilot and roll out process improvements
 
Reporting & Analysis

? Maintains reporting of launch success rate and reviews weekly with manager
? Responsible with compiling reporting on launch success and distributing to eComm, Buying, and Digital Operations teams

Team Collaboration

? Collaborate with New York-based Ecommerce team to execute business strategies

As a Analyst, you will:

? Minimum of 1-2 year experience in e-Commerce, retail site merchandising preferred. Project Management experience is a plus
? Undergraduate Degree
? Understanding of retail ecommerce landscape
? Excellent Interpersonal, Analytical & Communication Skills
? Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel and Power Point) and the ability to quickly learn internal systems, processes and additional software/web-based applications
? Strong aptitude to work within deadlines, both independently and as part of a team
? Assertive, adaptable and demonstrates initiative in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities
? Strong aptitude to work within deadlines, both independently and as part of a team
? Demonstrated experience in a problem solving role
