Purpose of Role
Create a positive culture of excellence and innovation by establishing top-notch L&D systems that enhance the employee experience. Lead the design and implementation of training programs across all levels. The ideal candidate will have strong L&D expertise, excellent communication, and a deep understanding of the manufacturing environment, while managing growth in a fast-paced setting.
Experience & Qualification
12 - 15 years with excellent credentials and exposure to engineering & product-based organization is preferred.
Roles & Responsibilities
Foster brand management by promoting L&D initiatives that reflect the company’s mission, culture, and values.
Develop a competency matrix to identify skill gaps and target employee development.
Plan and manage an annual training calendar to ensure consistent learning opportunities.
Initiate & leverage both in-person and digital learning platforms to create a blended learning experience.
Build learning pathways for employee career growth and role alignment.
Facilitate programs that enhance employee engagement, inclusion, and collaboration through initiatives like cross-functional projects, mentoring, and coaching.
Continuously assess the effectiveness of learning initiatives and make data-driven improvements and Implement tools to gather feedback and evaluate training ROI to improve future programs.
Lead workshops and training sessions, ensuring they are engaging and impactful for employees at all levels.
Represent the company on platforms like Glassdoor and LinkedIn to boost employer branding.
Manage the L&D budget, ensuring efficient and cost-effective training programs.
Oversee e-learning platforms (LMS) and external vendors to provide various training sessions.
Use learning analytics to design data-driven training that meets employee needs.
Serve as a key business partner to managers and leadership teams, ensuring L&D initiatives align with business needs.
Build a culture of continuous learning, improvement, and adaptability to change.
Role Specific Skills/Competencies
A degree in Human Resources or equivalent. Master’s degree preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in learning and development, within the manufacturing industry.
Strong understanding of adult learning methodologies, behavioral assessments (e.g., DISC, MBTI), or leadership development frameworks.
Strong interest or involvement in employee engagement and corporate culture initiatives.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Experience with e-learning platforms and digital training tools.
Knowledge of compliance and safety regulations within the manufacturing sector . Proven experience designing and implementing behavioral and leadership development programs.
Experience managing Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) or related employee engagement initiatives.
