Job DescriptionOverview of the Position:Sr Testing Analysts (ETL+SQL):-Create participate at the project team level and coordinate the work of Testing Analysts and QA resources assigned to support the ETL (DataStage) - DWH, Bi Reports test execution of their assigned projects (with 7+ year of exp in ETL +SQL)Create are responsible for ensuring all Testing Analyst work products for their assigned projects are delivered according to procedure and scheduleCreate interface primarily with QA, Development and Project team members to provide ETL, BI solutions and ensure that requirements to support project/change deliverablesDetermine automation test strategies for Functional, Regression and/or Smoke Testing for application/function-based changesInteractions with Business Users during SIT, UAT, signoff and project life cycle activities

Key Duties & Responsibilities:Work with QA/Project Managers and assess project/change artifacts to identify functional requirements and opportunities to support complex multi-application/platform projects Good understanding of Data ware house and ETL(DataStage) process Good understanding in SQL/PL SQL and Data base like oracle, HiveGood understanding of OBIEE/OAC, BI data flow, BI reports and data validation Good understanding of Actimize application-CDD, IFM, WLF, SAMGood understanding of Anti-money laundering and Fraud domainHaving understanding of Kafka and real time data feed, consumption and validationGood understanding of case management, alert generation, Actimize tool and its workflow Identify, assign, and monitor the activities of test specialists in support of the multiple deliverables under their area of responsibilityProactively communicate and collaborate with test teams and support partnersParticipate and drive test automation improvements with toll like ETL validator, python script, selenium etc.Create, manage the execution of automation scripts according to test plan and schedule Monitor overall test execution and manage contingency planning for test plan variances Identify and communicate risks during test planning and execution

Qualifications

Education:Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience:Minimum of 7 years of experience in ETL and SQL testing, particularly with DataStage, BI reporting, and data warehouse processes.

Skills:Proficiency in SQL/PL SQL and database systems such as Oracle and Hive.Strong knowledge of DataStage ETL processes, BI data flow, and data validation.Experience with anti-money laundering (AML) and fraud domain expertise.Familiarity with OBIEE/OAC and Actimize applications, including CDD, IFM, WLF, and SAM modules.Understanding of Kafka for real-time data feed validation.Solid grasp of case management, alert generation, and the Actimize tool workflow.

Preferred Qualifications:Expertise in automation tools (e.g., ETL Validator, Python scripting, Selenium).Industry certifications in SQL, ETL, or QA.Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills.
